It’s exhausting to keep repeating the same things over and over again.

Sometimes you promise yourself you’ll act differently, but you end up reacting in the same way, finding yourself in the same patterns, the same relationships, the same arguments…

And you’ve already read, reflected, maybe even done therapy before… but your body still reacts the same way.

You may understand what is happening, but you can’t fully change it.

Or you might even believe that there is something wrong with you, or that you are simply “like this.”

You already understand the theory, but it’s hard to feel different.

The problem is not a lack of strength or willpower. It’s that the ways you learned to protect yourself are still active, even when you no longer need them.

Meanwhile, life keeps moving: it can be hard to stay present, enjoy things, or feel at ease. You keep trying to hold everything together, when what you actually need is a space where you can lower your guard and start to listen to yourself more deeply.

Understanding the different parts in you, your critical part, your vulnerable part, your avoidant part, your compliant part… can help you shift the patterns that keep holding you back.

Do you sometimes feel like one part of you wants something, while another part pulls you in a different direction?

It’s normal to feel pushed in different directions inside ourselves. It can feel like different “characters” within you: the child, the part that feels like a victim, the part that tries to control everything, the part that doesn’t want to get out of bed, the part that blames and criticizes you, the part that hides, and the part that suddenly feels strong and capable of anything.

These parts are called MODES and we work with them to find more equilibrium and feel that you are in charge of your life.

A more experiential approach

In Schema Therapy sessions, we don’t just talk. We combine traditional talk therapy — where you share what you’re going through — with experiential techniques such as visualizations, chair work, imagery rescripting, and somatic or body-based exercises.

At the beginning, we agree on clear goals and review them every 3 or 6 months.
In each session, we include experiential exercises.
If needed, we also set between-session tasks to support your process.

My experience working in clinics in the Netherlands has taught me the value of working in an effective and focused way. That doesn’t mean pressure, we go at your pace.

Because understanding things intellectually is not enough for lasting change. We also need new emotional experiences.

In sessions, I’m warm, approachable, and also direct and clear. I don’t go around in circles, because I care about real change — and about helping you feel better.

My work is grounded in Schema Therapy, with a focus on inner parts, the inner child, and early emotional wounds.

I worked for 9 years in specialized clinics in Amsterdam, and I have now returned to my home region in Spain, offering schema therapy online.
