About

For more than nine years, I have accompanied people in therapeutic processes in various mental health clinics in Amsterdam. I now focus on online schema therapy from my hometown, Vitoria-Gasteiz.

My approach is focused on trying to understand the patterns and schemas we repeat, the ways of feeling, thinking, and relating that, although once were necessary for survival, over time might have become limiting and can make your life quite difficult.

I like to see people as whole stories with lived experiences, not just as diagnoses or simply focus on what is happening on the surface in day-to-day life. We try to look a bit deeper, at the repeating cycles, the things that get you stuck, your relationship with your body…

I started training as a therapist in the Netherlands in 2012, and worked since 2025 in clinical settings alongside multidisciplinary teams, psychiatrists, doctors, clinical psychologists, art therapists… Over the last six years, I have specialized more in personality and complex trauma. Working there taught me the importance of integrating a scientific, practical, and direct approach, while still remaining human, warm, and empathic.

I mainly work from a Schema Therapy framework, although I also incorporate techniques from Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), EMDR, Imagery Rescripting (IMRS), and Dance Movement Therapy when the process requires it or when the person is interested.

All these approaches help us reframe and make sense of past experiences that still interfere in daily life, and they also give us tools to transform the way we relate to ourselves and to others.

My way of working combines listening and empathy with clear and structured interventions. I am direct—I don’t beat around the bush or talk to you like you’re made of sugar—but I can also be gentle and very careful. Both are needed.

I aim to offer a safe space where you can recognise your patterns, your struggles, your fears… understand where they come from, and begin to experiment with new ways of being in the world, so you can ultimately feel better.

My own life journey has taught me that coming out of darkness is not an act of willpower—you don’t just decide “I’m going to feel better” and it happens. Support is needed. There was a time when I felt like I was living in a desert, very lost, very much in a dark place. Therapy was one of the pillars that helped me return to myself, to understand myself, to feel alive again, and to regain a sense of strength and choice.

That is why I deeply believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship, because we do not come out of certain places alone.

And after twelve years living in Amsterdam, I have returned to Vitoria-Gasteiz, my hometown, and I feel very grateful for the mountains, the rocks, the closeness of people, the loudness… I now offer both online therapy for people who want to understand and transform their patterns, heal emotional wounds, or simply learn to live with more calm and agency.

My work is not focused on diagnostic labels, but on real people with real stories. Each process is unique, and my role is to offer a clear framework and a supportive space for exploration and change.
